The Person Behind the Lens
40 years in technology. From running billion-pound sales operations at Dell to building the future of spatial visualisation.

I've been working in technology for over 40 years. My IT degree in 1982 included AI, which means I was studying this subject before most of the current industry had started school. I didn't jump on a bandwagon. I was there when the wheels were being fitted.
The career went deep into enterprise technology before moving into sales leadership at Dell, where I led businesses across cloud and software. The largest was a $1.6bn operation. That combination of knowing what the technology actually does and knowing what it's worth to a client is what I still use every day.
cr8ive.ai is where those 2 things meet. I capture real spaces using drones, LiDAR, and specialist 3D scanning equipment, then turn that data into interactive 3D models, cinematic fly-throughs, and AI-generated visualisations. A venue owner can show every event layout without moving a chair. A heritage trust can record building condition without scaffolding. A property developer can walk investors through a site without leaving the office.
What separates this from standard drone work or basic scanning is the combination of 3D Gaussian Splatting and generative AI. Very few people are doing both. That gap is where I work.
And honestly? Cr8ive is a deliberate lifestyle business. I'm not trying to build a team or chase a revenue ceiling. I'm doing the work I find genuinely interesting, staying ahead of a field that moves fast, and picking projects where the technology has real business purpose. The R&D comes first. The commercial opportunities follow from that.
That suits me fine.
Three Ways to Work Together
Project Delivery
We capture your space and build the 3D model. You get hosted links, fly-throughs, and visualisations ready to share with your stakeholders. Most projects run from initial meeting to final delivery within two to three weeks.
Advisory & Consultancy
Private strategy sessions for firms evaluating spatial capture. Compressed experience, no trial-and-error cost. Whether you're choosing technology, building a business case, or planning an in-house capability, we bring 40 years of commercial technology leadership to the table.
Training
Want your team to develop their own spatial capture capability? We run hands-on training tailored to your equipment, software, and use cases. Not generic courses. Practical sessions built around the work you actually need to do.
